"Cohyn, with State Farm Ins., assisted in getting me not only vehicle insurance but also renters insurance and natural disaster insurance for almost half the cost that I was paying with my other insurance. "Once you cancel coverage through them, they are extremely unhelpful and don’t care any longer. Great service as a customer but beware once you leave, Abigail specifically. I don’t think I’d ever go back to Ryan’s State Farm."

"Rani, it's great to hear that we are doing a good job taking care of customers. As far as after the fact - I'm upset to hear that you felt as though you weren't taken care of. I take these matters seriously which is why I got involved on this matter with my team. As you said in communication with me, your mortgage company, as an oversight, sent payment because they were unaware of the insurance change. Upon notification, they didn’t put a stop pay on the check. Because of this issue State Farm billing had to cash the check when received to process the refund; personally, it seems easier to destroy the check or simply send it back, but they don’t ask my opinion on that process; it’s not my department. They did however, issue your refund within the same day of receiving the check. I stand in defense of the company on this as it couldn’t have been done quicker. Standard mail delivery is 7-10 business days. I get that waiting on the mailman feels like watching water boil, but the managing the USPS is not in our scope of business and we are forced to wait patiently and ask our customers to do the same. Abby shared the emails and showed where she thoroughly followed up with you, got answers to your questions and responded within 24 hours of every email. Abby relayed the information we got from corporate as we weren’t the ones directly handling this matter. Additionally, my team and I have called several times and left voicemails seeking communication for resolution. I stand behind my team. We don’t always get it right, but we did our best here and communicated back quickly and accurately. I understand you feel like we stopped caring once you stopped paying premiums here; but the email chains and call logs suggest that we were very intentional in trying to help to completion. Just because we lose a customer doesn't mean the service stops - we appreciate every day of business you provided here and hope to leave on good terms. "

"We are constantly having issues with this insurance company / location hassling us for money that has already been paid, or constantly being pushy trying to get more money from us upgrading our policies when we aren’t interested and have told them so multiple times. We will definitely be dropping them for insurance ASAP."

"Mackenzie, thank you for the feedback as it helps us identify weak points. I want to first address your frustration regarding the billing system. We understand navigating insurance can be confusing and difficult. I'm sorry our communication came off pushy but I do encourage my team to call/text/email regularly, as a service, to try to keep policies from going into cancellation status - this helps to avoid cancellations and customers going without insurance. Regarding policy upgrades, out team is committed to helping customers meet their insurance needs and have been trained to identify gaps in coverage. I have reviewed notes and conversations and can assure you coverage has never been added where declined; but we will certainly offer products that fit customer needs. My team works hard to remain professional and informative and we have done that over the past few months while your bill continues to be sorted out. For clarification, State Farm is not double charging. When you get a month behind they have to collect for the previous month before they'll bill for the next. So if you fell a month behind and paid late, it feels like you are being double charged, but the bill would simply reflect the past month due and the current month due - but not a result of an upcharge in coverage."
